Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Zyro VPN ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and website. By using Zyro VPN you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — if you create an account, we store your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google.
• Password — stored only as a secure one-way hash (we can never read it).
• Device identifier — a device ID used to secure your session and prevent abuse.
• Connection history — to power the in-app History screen, we record which server/country you connected to and the time of connection. We do not record the websites you visit, the content you transmit, or your DNS lookups.
• Approximate location & IP — your IP address is used momentarily to assign you a nearby server and to help prevent fraud. We do not maintain logs that map your activity to your IP.
• Purchases — subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We receive a purchase confirmation (order ID, product, time) but never your card or banking details.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Your browsing history or the websites/apps you use through the VPN.
• The content of your traffic, messages, or downloads.
• DNS queries tied to your identity.

3. Third-party services

Zyro VPN relies on trusted third parties to provide and improve the service:

• Server network: your encrypted traffic is routed through Zyro VPN's network of servers, which may include capacity provided by trusted hosting and infrastructure partners. Whichever server you use, your connection is encrypted in transit.
• Google Play Billing — for subscriptions.
• Google / Firebase — for optional Google sign-in, push notifications, and basic, aggregated analytics.
• Advertising — free users may see ads served by ad networks (e.g. Google AdMob / AppLovin). Premium users see no ads.
• Email — transactional emails (welcome, password reset, verification codes) are sent via our email provider.

4. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To connect you to servers and show your connection history.
• To send essential emails (verification, password reset, account notices).
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and to keep the service secure.
• To improve app performance through aggregated, non-identifying analytics.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep account data only while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app; this permanently removes your account and connection history from our database.

6. Security

VPN traffic is protected with strong (AES-256-class) encryption. Passwords are hashed, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Children

Zyro VPN is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights, or use the in-app account controls.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
